A unique musical identity

The series’ signature tune was written by Lionel Florence and composed by Pascal Obispo at the beginning of his career. It is performed by Avy Marciano who plays the role of Samuel / David. The soundtrack of the series gives the plots the dramatic style desired by the authors.

Pascal Breton sought a music with a 70s flavour. There are also original tracks written especially for the actresses, such as « Place des Lices au soleil ».

The extensions of the series

A first collection of the tracks from the series was released in 1998. After a fan survey launched in 2007 by Marathon, asking fans to choose their favourite tracks, a new CD compilation was to be released.

There are also all the DVDs and especially THE official PolyGram Collections, consisting of a booklet and a DVD that covered 416 episodes for 4 years. Every 15 days, the booklet presented interviews with fans of the series, the synopsis of the episodes, a poster, interviews with the actors…

Many books and accounts and even the journals of Jessica, Caroline, and Laure.

Finally « Sous le soleil – Le Collector » by Adeline Blondieau in 2005 for the 10th anniversary of the series.
